Secutiry SaaS Product end-to-end
Role
UX/UI and Product Designer
Project
SaaS B2C, client and admin versions

Context
With no technical background, the client spent years close to the people most affected by scams and safety concerns around buying and selling used cars. That proximity turned into a decade-long pursuit of a solution, one that already had over 1,000 people waiting, despite previous teams repeatedly failing to ship it.
Eager to move fast, the client had mapped out the entire product on his own, without a design or product background.
That created layers of inconsistencies, internal logic problems, and a solution that was difficult for the team to read, understand, and build from.
Problems
No visual identity or brand presence
Low-quality, inconsistent visual assets
Incomplete or out-of-context technical requirements
Features and flows defined without usability or architecture considerations
No clear priorities or product vision
No research investment, pressure to ship fast
Client unfamiliar with design and product processes
Product information confusing and mixed with AI-generated content
Process
The first priority was getting everyone on the same page. Mapping the product flows visually was what made that possible: it exposed the gaps, fixed the communication failures, and gave the team something concrete to react to and build from.
With alignment in place, we planned what was actually needed to move forward. The client wasn't looking to invest in discovery or research beyond what he had already brought to the table, so the focus was on making the most of what existed, fixing what was broken and shaping it into something solid and buildable.
Visual flow mapping:
Resolved contradictory information and aligned team and client
Defined MVP scope and priorities
Mapped technologies and planned POCs for the dev team
Identified usability issues and market positioning
Planned improvement strategies
Product and usability redesign:
Restructured architecture and flows for better comprehension
Revised freemium/premium model to improve conversion and retention
Planned admin system with scalability in mind
Wireframes:
Detailed flow visualization
Visual hierarchy definition
Validation with the technical team

Logo redesign and design system:
Simplified and vectorized existing logo
Defined colors, typography, breakpoints, and components based on Shadcn/ui

High fidelity and handoff:
Built all flows and states with the design system applied
Worked directly with the dev team to present and clarify deliverables

Outcomes
A project that had been stalled for years finally shipped. The team had clear documentation, a consistent product, and a shared understanding that previous attempts never managed to establish
Client with clearer ownership of the product
Better documentation and team communication, reducing rework
Faster implementation through design-dev collaboration
Complex system turned into an easy-to-use product
